The siege vehicle is a tank siege weapon. As such, it uses the mountable vehicle interface.

The most common characteristics of a siege vehicle are

• extraordinarily durable
• front ramming plate
• top mounted cannon, sometimes operated by someone other than the driver

Not all siege vehicles share these characteristics though. Some have, instead, quest specific abilities.

• Alliance Siege Vehicle - apparently found in Tirisfal Glades
• Alliance Steam Tank - found in the Carrion Fields, for a specific alliance quest.
• Refurbished Steam Tank - NPC observed in Stormwind Harbor (as background, not operable).
• Salvaged Siege Engine - found in Ulduar
• Wintergrasp Siege Engine - found in Wintergrasp
