This item drops from Onyxia in the 25-man version of Onyxia's Lair.

This, along with its 10-man cousin, the [Runed Ring of Binding] and the [Purified Onyxia Blood Talisman], is one of the three pieces of Wrath of the Lich King end-game tank equipment to have passive and permanent resistances. Tanks may consider keeping this ring in their inventory and equipping it for fights where it would be useful.
