BackgroundEdit

This is a type of silithid found around their hive (cave) in Thousand Needles's Shimmering Flats. Other hives can be found in Feralas, Tanaris, Un'Goro Crater, and Silithus. For more information about the silithid, see the main article: Silithid.

StrategiesEdit

These are the most dangerous of the Shimmering Flats silithid. Though normally non-hostile, if attacked these mobs aggro everything around them in a surprisingly wide radius. It's best to pull these as far away from other mobs as possible before engaging. They also seem to send out another aggro call when low on health.

•  [35] The Swarm Grows (3) - obtained from  Moktar Krin at Ironstone Camp, 3rd in a chain starting with  [35] The Swarm Grows from Korran at the Crossroads in the Barrens.
•  [35] Parts of the Swarm - obtained from [Cracked Silithid Carapace], drop from this mob and other Silithid in the area.
