The Skeletal Remains of Kariel Winthalus are what remain of Kariel Winthalus in Dire Maul. They are very close to Lorekeeper Lydros. It seems that he served or admired Illidan Stormrage and Kael'thas Sunstrider.

A cursory examination of the skeletal remains indicates that the flesh was seared off. Quite a grisly sight.
