Snapjaws are a breed of large turtles found thriving on the eastern shores of Lordamere Lake in Hillsbrad Foothills (formerly Alterac Mountains) and along the long river that runs through the eastern part of the zone near Tarren Mill; they are also found in the Old Hillsbrad Foothills instance in the Caverns of Time.
