Sniper Training is a hunter talent in the Survival tree which increases Kill Shot's crit chance, and boosts other damage after the hunter stands still for a while.

Notes
After standing still for 6 sec, the hunter gets the Sniper Training buff, with the noted effects. This buff lasts 15 seconds, during which the hunter may move around without canceling the buff.
Patch changes
- Hotfix (2009-04-21): "Sniper Training should no longer remove players from stealth. [1]"
- Patch 3.1.0 (2009-04-14): Sniper Training has been changed to increase the critical strike chance of your Kill Shot ability by 5/10/15%, and while standing still for 6 sec., you gain Sniper Training increasing the damage done by your Steady Shot, Aimed Shot, Black Arrow and Explosive Shot by 2/4/6% Lasts 15 sec. (Previously increased damage and critical strike chance based on your range to the target.)
- Patch 3.0.8 (2009-01-20): Now increases the damage of Aimed Shot by the correct amount.
- Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): Added.
