Social

A type of command that affects the social interaction of the character, but doesn't have any direct game effects (such as damage or changing some state).

Also known as an Emote.

Some socials actually do affect the game, but they are small in number:

• /laydown, /sleep, /lie - These socials put you in a prone position that you must stand from to enter combat.
• /sit - This social puts you in a sitting position that you must stand from to enter combat.
