Soothsaying for Dummies is a fixed device, book located on a table inside Narain Soothfancy's house North of Steamwheedle Port in Tanaris.

Reading this book removes previous commitment to a discipline specialization in a profession that has been completely abandoned. This enables professionals to choose a different discipline specialization in a profession they had previously known.

Respecialization for Leatherworkers, Blacksmiths, and Tailors

1. Talk to one of the specialization trainers about switching.
2. Pay 100g to unlearn your current specialization
3. Go to this book and read it.

Respecialization for Engineers

1. Unlearn Engineering skill entirely. Note that you will lose all recipes learned, including quest-given recipes (such as the Zapthrottle Mote Extractor).
2. Relearn Engineering to 225 skill.
3. Read this book, choose your new specialization.
