Soul Fire is a mana efficient, high damage DD spell that consumes a Soul Shard. It has a long cast time so it is best used as your initial attack for pulling due to its long casting period. In this sense it is similar to the Mage's Pyroblast ability.

Tips and Tactics
This skill has good synergy with Curse of the Elements because of the lowered resistance to Fire damage. This skill has been shown to be one of the most mana-efficient spells, but it is undesirable in long raids due to the 1 SS cost and also undesirable for top DPS'ers because of the cooldown. If used occasionally this can be a lifesaver or a great burst damage tool.
Notes
- The in-game tooltip for this skill does not mention the Soul Shard requirement.
