Notes
In order to take advantage of the effect of this talent, the warlock should always be life tapping to replenish mana and stay somewhere under full health, the heal is otherwise useless unless you've also taken Improved Soul Leech. One of the few talents that help Destruction Warlocks regain mana. Consider this if you're tired of drinking.
Beware that the healing effect causes threat which can be troublesome in dungeons or whenever you have a weak tank such as a Voidwalker. To avoid getting aggro you'd have to wait until the tank has built threat on all mobs.
The heals from this talent are not considerable, but when combined with Fel Armor it all adds to quite a bit. This talent may not be worth it on it's own, but you need it to take Improved Soul Leech which is worth the points, both for you and for your party or raid.
Patch changes
- Patch 3.1.0 (2009-04-14): Improved Soul Leech talent now provides Replenishment.
- Patch 2.1 (2007-05-22): Fixed some data errors that caused Soul Leech and Conflagrate to generate more threat than intended.
