Soul Warding is a priesttalent, available after spending 5 talent points in the Discipline tree. It reduces the cooldown of Power Word: Shield and its mana cost.
Notes
With this talent, Power Word: Shield can be placed on multiple targets in a short amount of time, as it negates the base 4 second cooldown. It also increases mana regeneration by synergizing with Rapture.
Patch changes
/Patch 4.0.1 (12-Oct-2010): Moved to tier 2, now 2 points, no longer reduces the mana cost of Power Word: Shield, reduces the cooldown of Power Word: Shield by 1/2 sec.
Patch 3.1.2 (2009-05-19): Mana cost reduction is now 15% down from 30%.
Hotfix (2009-04-28): "The Priest ability Soul Warding now only reduces the mana cost of Power Word: Shield by 15% instead of 30%. The tooltip for this spell will be updated at a later date."
