The Southfury River with the Barrens to the left and Durotar to the right
The Southfury River is likely Kalimdor's most prominent river. Beginning as a small stream in the highlands surrounding Mount Hyjal, it grows into a wide, swift-flowing river that forms the boundary between Ashenvale Forest and Azshara, and further south, the border between the Barrens and Durotar where nasty creatures known as crocolisks patrol the waters. The river empties into the Great Sea in a cascading waterfall just northeast of the goblin port town of Ratchet.
