The '''Abandoned Reef''' is a large reef to the southwest of [[L'ghorek]]. This subzone only houses one NPC, the rarespawn [[Ghostcrawler (mob)|Ghostcrawler]] and a few crab hatchlings. Other than that it seems to be a leftover from the beta of Cataclysm. Perhaps developers planned Abyssal Depths to be of a certain size but ended up never needing this subzone at the "end" of the zone. It's name is quite fitting.

The Abandoned Reef is a large reef to the southwest of L'ghorek. The reef's appearance is much like that of a reef that has died, white coral with very little life present. Only a rare spirit beast crab, Ghostcrawler and a few crab hatchlings are the only wild life found here.

Notes

  • Although a mostly empty subzone, herbs and mining nodes still spawn here.
  • It seems to be a leftover from the beta of Cataclysm, perhaps developers planned Abyssal Depths to be of a certain size but ended up never needing this subzone at the "end" of the zone. It's name is quite fitting.
