Speedy Racer Goggles are a cloth head armor piece that increase the wearer's spell damage and Intellect.

This item used to be obtained as a reward from the quest Gahz'rilla but has been removed due to the other choice, the [Carrot on a Stick], being chosen as a much more worthwhile reward. Curiously, this item was upgraded in Patch 2.3, despite no longer being availible.

NotesEdit

Before it was removed, it was the only goggle-type head armor that did not require a Engineering level to equip. It was also one of, if not the only goggle type with square frames as opposed to rounded lenses prevalent in most engineering goggles. They goggles may also be a reference to the racing goggles worn by Speed in the old Speed Racer cartoon.
