History
Edit
Duskwood have became one of the most dangerous areas held by the Alliance, in part for the Splinter Fist ogres. They live in the southern part of the region and raid the remaining Alliance villages in the area,[1] and sometimes attack humans stealing their belongings.[3] They are like any ogre, who delight in attacking the Alliance villages. Some think that the deterioration of Duskwoods is caused by the Splinter Fist ogres, but they aren't too dificult to take down.[4]
Viktori Prism'Antras wants the monocle of Zzarc'Vul to use for his research and is sending Alliance adventurers to defeat the ogre.[5]

Notes
Edit
- Lands of Conflict says that a group of ogres called "Vul'Gol" live in Vul'Gol Ogre Mound.[6] In World of Warcraft the "Splinter Fist" inhabit that place. It is possible that it was renamed by Blizzard Entertainment or that Lands of Conflict called them Vul'Gol because they live in Vul'Gol Ogre Mound.

Cataclysm, the only Ogres that spawn at the mound are Warrior, Ogre, and Firemonger. Zzarc' Vul still maintains a spot at the back of the cave. After several weeks of farming for an Alchemy recipe drop, it appears the Warrior, Ogre, and Firemonger are shared spawns.
