Knowing the vrykul had little respect for elves, the San'alyn retrieved the corpse of Angerboda and resurrected her, plotting to use her as a pawn to manipulate the vrykul. Almost immediately, Angerboda turned on the San'layn and destroyed them, seizing control of their forces for herself. Rallying all vrykul still loyal to the ideals of the Scourge to her side, Angerboda and her forces became one of the most powerful of the Scourge remnants.
