Stone giant

From WoWWiki

Stone giants (also called wood giants[1]) are found primarily in Northrend. They look like mountain giants with trees sticking out of their backs, and roots wrapped around their heads. Some of the stone giants are rune-inscribed, the runes control the giants. Some of Northrend's stone giants are more detailed appearing more human-like with carved beards, and armor.

Archaedas, the stone guardian, has also been described as a "giant of stone".MG 151

This article or section includes speculation, observations or opinions possibly supported by lore or by Blizzard officials. It should not be taken as representing official lore.

Stone giants may also include (or be known as) stone guardians,MG 151 stone keepers,HPG 243 or stone watchers.

Some, like Archaedas, are constructs and ancient servants of the titans, and guard their vaults. Although they are significantly smaller and weaker than their god-like creators, stone giants like Archaedas are still powerful giants by human standards.[citation needed] Aman shows that this type of stone giant is supposedly in the titans' direct image. Stone giants that look more like a type of colossus can be found in Northrend.

Based on his quotes, Gavrock may be one, but without the trees.
