Basic Information

Stormwind Gate is a massive gate that serves as the main entrance to the Human and Alliance Capital city, Stormwind City. This gate is located in the front section of Stormwind City called the Valley of Heroes. Both Alliance and Horde are able to enter through the gates, although Horde players will be attacked on site by the four Stormwind City guards standing just within the gate and just outside of it. Horde players are also likely to be attacked by Alliance players Dueling just outside of the gates. On top of the gate is a popular place for Horde players to hide. It requires a very small amount of skill to get there.

Getting up the top

Climbing to the top of Stormwind Gate is a simple process.

Step One

Step One: Just outside of Stormwind City to the right.

Climb onto a small hill at the foot of the Elwynn Forest mountain wall, found to the right of the Stormwind City entrance.







Step Two

Step Two: Jump across to land between the mountain wall and pylon.

Make sure you are mounted - Jump across to pylon, hopefully, you will stay between the mountain wall and pylon.








Step Three
