The term sunken Kalimdor is used to describe the remnants of the historical super-continent of Kalimdor which sank into the newly formed Great Sea following the Great Sundering. The highborne night elves trapped in sunken Kalimdor were transformed into the naga.
This term is generally only used when discussing these various areas in general, since there is no official term for the collective sunken areas.
Of course, most of "sunken Kalimdor" is probably just the sea floor now.
