From looking at maps and comparing the map layout of the battlefield used in Warcraft, some may speculate that Sunnyglade once rested around the [[Tower of Azora]] which would be the tower that is referenced in the mission that Sunnyglade is introduced. The river patterns are roughly the same, and there is a river dividing Elwynn and Darkshire much like there is a river on the battlefield. The bridges may have been razed and the infrastructure removed completely. Also the tileset may indicate that it did take place in a grassy field much like the former Darkshire (prior to its corruption) and Elwynn Forest.

It is also speculated that Sunnyglade may be the town of [[Raven Hill]] in [[World of Warcraft]], as [[Darkshire]] was [[Grand Hamlet]]. However this is doubtful as there is no tower in Raven Hill, then again the tower may be [[Klaven's Tower]] and even if there is no proof to support this, it would be the most reasonable choice.

Sunnyglade was a town in the Kingdom of Azeroth at the time of the First War. It was known for its wealth and prosperity. With the fall of the Kingdom of Azeroth at the end of the First War, it is assumed the town was deserted, occupied, or razed completely.

Orc Campaign

The orcish Horde saw that the time to attack Sunnyglade had come. They attacked the town, but a tower was ordered to be left intact so that they could study how human magiks were created.

Human Campaign

The town was raided by the Orcish Horde and destroyed, its inhabitants taken to an Orcish compound and enslaved. Later, the forces of the king rescued the prisoners, rebuilt the town, and drove the orcs out of the area.

This article or section includes speculation, observations or opinions possibly supported by lore or by Blizzard officials. It should not be taken as representing official lore.

From looking at maps and comparing the map layout of the battlefield used in Warcraft, some may speculate that Sunnyglade once rested around the Tower of Azora which would be the tower that is referenced in the mission that Sunnyglade is introduced.

It is also speculated that Sunnyglade may be the town of Raven Hill in World of Warcraft, as Darkshire was Grand Hamlet. However this is doubtful as there is no tower in Raven Hill, then again the tower may be Klaven's Tower and even if there is no proof to support this, it would be the most reasonable choice.
