Suns

In real world astronomy and physics, suns are stars at the center of a solar system. Everything in that solar system orbits its sun. Energy from the sun, in the form of sunlight and heat, supports almost all life on those planets. Of course, Outland obviously doesn't really obey real world physics and probably astronomy as well, so a sun being at the center of a system is more the expected norm that consistently true.
