At level 70, you must have 5.6% reduction to be critically hit to prevent all crits from Raid bosses. Patch 3.0.2 doubled the benefit of this talent. With the 6% crit reduction, feral tanks no longer need any Defense Rating or Resilience Rating on their gear to reach immunity to critical strikes from raid bosses. This allows more room for stamina enchants/gems, giving feral tanks larger health pools than a protection warrior or paladin.
