- Numbers can panic the amateur warrior, and rout the bravo, but for the professional soldier they are just another minor annoyance to take on board. A slight adjustment to the set of the shoulders, a quick glance around to take in position, a burst of calculated ferocity, and the swings grow wider and more powerful.
- One enemy, two enemies...it's all the same to the professional...
Sweeping Strikes is a Fury Tree Talent Ability unlocked at 21 points. It is a 10 second self-buff, costs 30 Rage and functions similarly to Cleave; for the next ten melee swings, all melee attacks hit both the target, and the enemy nearest to him as well. This applies to any abilities used within the duration as well.
| Rank | Rage | Level |

Notes
- Requires Melee Weapon Equipped.
- Stacks with Cleave, causing four attacks on two enemies every swing, each with a standard critical chance.
- Sweeping Strikes will not cause Execute to strike a nearby opponent unless the nearby opponent has less than 20% health (does not consume a charge of Sweeping Strikes either).
- If you use a special attack like Slam or Mortal Strike on an opponent, it will strike the nearest opponent if you have Sweeping Strikes up. In the case of Mortal Strike, though, only the damage is dealt; the second mob will not get the debuff from the attack.

Tips and Tactics
Combined with Cleave, this is a good way to deal with Adds, or pulling two enemies at a time, but both this, and Cleave, cost a lot of Rage, so timing and careful judgment of the odds are essential.
Using Sweeping Strikes in combination with Cleave against two enemies will grant two hits against each enemy, for a total of four hits in one swing. However, it will also use two charges of Sweeping Strikes.
In a tight spot with two mobs on you, combining this with Retaliation can swing the battle in your favor.
Sweeping Strikes doesn't always work; if you don't see the damage above the second mob's head, chances are the enemies aren't positioned correctly. Try to move around so that they're close together and standing side-by-side to get the effect of the ability.
Past Changes
- As of Patch 2.3, swapped locations in the talent trees with Death Wish, lasts 10 seconds and affects your next 10 swings (was 5 swings).
