Sythegore Arm
From WoWWiki
Sythegore Arm is the title of the Horde division of wolf riders. Blackhand and his two sons, Rend and Maim were members of the Sythegore Arm before rising to power.
It is unlikely, though possible, that the Sythegore was (at one time, at least) comparable to an organized orc clan (like the Blackrock Clan, for example).
It is also unknown whether the Frostwolf Clan, also known for their Raiders, were a part of the Sythegore Arm or a rival organization. The Frostwolves were exiled by Gul'dan for refusing to submit to demonic corruption.
Orgrim Doomhammer disbanded the Sythegore Arm after he took power, because he feared that they would betray him in an attempt to put Rend or Maim on the throne (which was untrue; it was an attempt by Gul'dan to gain the Warchief's trust after his near-brush with death). By the beginning of the Second War, wolf-riders were no longer common within the ranks of the Horde's armies. W2Man 63
Wolf-riders gained a renewed presence in the world during the Third War under the newest Warchief, Thrall. This new generation of mounted orc warriors are separate from those of the past, cultivated solely out of Thrall's own clan, the Frostwolves.
Orcish Wolf-riders are also called Raiders.
