The Tabard of the Protector is a tabard earned for completing the quest 
[60] Into the Breach at the Dark Portal in the Blasted Lands. It looks just like the Tabard of the Argent Dawn, but has some kind of AoE effect that is supposed to make your character look "heroic".
Notes
The Tabard of the Protector was a quest reward during the world event before the launch of World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade. After the launch of the expansion, the quest was removed and the tabard is no longer obtainable.
Activating the tabard, to "show how heroic you are" causes a cosmetic effect similar to Holy Nova around your character, and causes you to flex your muscles.
