A type of recipe that requires skill within Illustrious tailoring proficiency. Tailoring recipes are also called Patterns. All Patterns require cloths or threads. Some patterns also require components that are crafted or gathered by various professions, found as loot or purchased from a vendor. Formulas are taught by Tailoring trainers, given as a reward for completing a Tailoring quest, found as loot or purchased from a vendor.

Illustrious Tailoring proficiency can be trained at level 80 and it permits progression up to 525 skill. Some patterns require only 425 skill which can be reached in Grandmaster Tailoring proficiency.
