Tal'Kierthan (aka Ta'kierthan^{[citation needed]}) was a legendary night elven priest who lived centuries ago. He employed special songs in the construction of his Tal'Kierthan Songblades. These caused the blades to chant in Darnassian during battle.^[1]

For unexplained reasons the name of his weapons are Ta'Kierthan Songblade in World of Warcraft.
