Talk:Amplify Curse
From WoWWiki
Is the effect including bonus damage from equipment etc? If it is, then Amplify Curse with Curse of Doom should be much better on bosses than using Curse of Agony? -- LarsPensjo 09:06, 18 April 2007 (EDT)
- I will test this out tonight, if I get a chance to log in. I don't know enough about bonus damage and dots vs dds, so I can't answer the second part of your question. -- DuTempete talk|contr 18:08, 18 April 2007 (EDT)
- It seems to take damage bonuses from talents into account but not from gear. In my test with ~1020 +dmg, CoA deals 4068 damage amplified and 3228 otherwise, which is only an improvement of 26% (and less with better gear) instead of the expected 50% from Amplify Curse. --Fschoenm 16:19, 28 April 2007 (EDT)
Change from ability to talent
Sorry I butchered the whole new page, but it was written in such a way this talent was treated as a spell. It provides a passive effect that cannot be activated/deactivated, so it is by definition a talent. Adesworth talk to me
