I'm fairly sure it could, I've heard also of using http://shadowpanther.net as a source of information though none of the current lists actually cover specifically what a certain class would want. Thats more upto the person looking at the pages themselves, though putting these lists, if very relevant and useful to a class at the bottom of the page would probably be very useful as well.

In addition, 2.4 has changed quite a few stats so essentially every piece of dps gear is now useful for 2 dps classes minimum (removing spell damage on Ret pally gear, etc...) --Emiraly 01:13, 21 April 2008 (UTC) ==
