Does that guy have three legs or four?

OliphauntEdit

The term oliphaunt comes from the hobbit poem of the same name in The Adventures of Tom Bombadil (although it also appears in LOTR Two Towers as well IIRC). However I had to clarify further, that the appearance in the manga is closer to the ones that appear in the movies. The artwork from the poem just shows a regular type two horned elephant as big as a house (there is other artwork out there though as far as I know).Baggins (talk) 10:37, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

Elekk, What Elekk?Edit

I don't understand why there is even a "unknown of any relation to elekks" note here, is it simply a 'covering all the bases' addition? As far as I know, there's no real possibility that the orcs brought them through the Portal during the first war or anything like that, wouldn't the lore mentioned something about the orcs having a house-sized animal?--Mondoblasto (talk) 13:10, 13 December 2008 (UTC)

I'm just going to delete it if no one has any objections; it doesn't even make sense to put that in.--Mondoblasto (talk) 09:19, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

Titans :p, ancients, wolves, skunks, etc, all native to draenor and azeroth... But who knows...Baggins (talk) 04:25, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
