  1. Keep Foogray 05:56, 3 November 2006 (EST) - (Yep, it's not canonical lore. But that doesn't mean it has no place in the wiki. The article should make clear that this isn't part of the canonical lore and should be removed from the lore category, though.)
  2. Keep Mikk 06:56, 3 November 2006 (EST) - (Definitely keep. And i'm not even certain the Lore cat is out of place. I'll leave that up to the bookkeepers to decide. It's official, after all.)

Comments Edit

Just mark it as Warcraft III content / lore if needed CJ 09:54, 3 November 2006 (EST)

OMGEdit

OMG... I bet this was by the same person that made the wormhead article... gawd. What idiocy. This is NOT canon lore. This is a SCENARIO map that has NOTHING to do with the World of WarCraft other than they appear in the same game.

No wai! All bonus maps are totally official lore! --Kakwakas 23:53, 8 November 2006 (EST)

Nice one, Kakwakas. Yeah, most of the bonus maps shouldn't be considered as official lore. That doesn't mean there can't be articles about them here in the wiki, but they really shouldn't be put in the lore category. I'm going to remove this article from that category. --Foogray 07:16, 9 November 2006 (EST)
As humorous as that was, don't make stupid edits, Kakwakas. Quite obviously the Candy War article doesn't belong in the lore category, and pretending like you achieved something by creating an article yourself to prove a point is rather frustrating. -- Kirkburn (talk) 11:00, 9 November 2006 (EST)
Okay, I've now created a new category for this stuff, you know, something useful rather than complaining and doing nothing to help. :) -- Kirkburn (talk) 11:08, 9 November 2006 (EST)
Yes, yes, it was a bad thing to do, but it proved my point. If we want WoWWiki to become a credible source of Warcraft lore information (and I do), we need to be able to see the obvious distinction between canon and noncanon (even if it shows up in official sources, like leprechauns and keep things straight. --Kakwakas 17:43, 9 November 2006 (EST)
