purpose of Bloodsail reputation

I'm not saying there is no purpose, but I don't know what it is, and probably most people don't either. Someone should note the purpose as a counter to "Being an enemy of Booty Bay" or whatever it's called. Schmidt 22:58, 10 June 2006 (EDT)

Agreed. People put a lot of time/effort into finding out HOW to become bloodsail buccaneer allies... but never mentioned why someone would want to do this. Roffler 14:22, 4 August 2006 (EDT)

Honored Rep

Should I add info about this? Seems everything about honored rep is obscured, but i have never changed things here before, so i wasnt sure...

Incoming Update

Just to say I'll be making my long awaited final updates to the Bloodsail Section. For thoses who don't know, I was the person who expanded the faction information from a mere stub, to what it looks like now. However, I had to leave it half finished due to school, work, and the fact I ended up joining a end game guild. But seeing I've noticed people confused by the incomplete guide, I will be working on it shortly to finish everything.

Reputation limit

You can not get any Reputation through killing Booty Bay Bruiser, when you reach Honored 11999/12000. The only way to become revered is to make one Bloodsail Buccaneer quest after you reach the limit. There is no known reward for honored or revered.

This is incorrect. You can kill Jazzrik in the Badlands for 1 rep per kill up to 20999/21000 Revered. Score 22:03, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

Bloodsail Reputation

At neutral you talk to the Bloodsail Admiral and recieve a costume. At friendly you can pick up a quest that will reward you a pirate hat.

At friendly you are also able to open the chests found in Bloodsail camps and on Bloodsail ships without the Bloodsail attacking you. Byne 10:42, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

Bruisers buffed

The Booty Bay Bruisers are now Level 67, so there goes my chance to grind Bloodsail rep when I get to 60. I have added a note to the page, this information should be incorporated somehow. PhilHibbs 22:23, 12 January 2007 (EST)

Unless someone objects, I will split this page in general information about the Buccanneers and a reputation guide, like it was done with Timbermaw Hold, since I think screenshots of every BB goblin don't belong here.

Area 52

I'm not sure if this is just a bug with my character, but a side-effect of being Hated by the Cartel is the inability to use the mailbox in Area 52. Note that there is no way to attack or kill NPCs in Area 52, so there is no way to determine faction affiliations. Potente 15:13, 23 April 2007 (EDT)

I want to get a good rep with the Bloodsail Buccaneers to get the hat to summon the Blood Parrot, after I get the hat, how can I Regain honor with the goblin cities like Gadgetzan and Booty Bay, and Ratchet?

Non-humans

If Duke Falrevere and his men really hate non-humans why do they have a gnome , goblin , orc and tauren as captains? (Duke Ragereaver 07:32, 4 November 2007 (UTC))

Who knows? Apparently they have some orcs, goblins and jungle trolls on their island too.Baggins

Well their goals have changed. In the Rpg they are motivated by hatred of non-humans while in WoW they are motivated by simply profit. Zarnks (talk) 21:44, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

Pirate Day and Sept 19

I'm not on the beta server, so if it is indeed Pirate Day today it may be due to this - http://www.talklikeapirate.com/ Of course, I can't confirm it, but that's the best hunch I have for Blizzard's reason to add this "holiday" in. Achievement

the text says "In the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, there will be an achievement for completing Neutral [60] Avast Ye, Admiral!." this needs to be updated, I don't know if there is an achievement or not but whoever knows should update it. MarkButler (talk)

Clothes/Title

Can you wear them at hated rep. with the Bloodsail?

E.G. You raise your reputation to Honoured to do the quests to get the entire pirate costume and the title, then you get your reputation back to hated and booty bay back to friendly or whatever so you can use it again. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lord Kronus (talk · contr).

The clothes do not require rep to wear, so yes, you only need to earn them then you can go back to getting rep with the goblins. And sign your posts. Loosely related Honored reward?

I don't think it would fit here, but wanted to run it by people who spend more time/effort on the wiki to let them decide. Would making a comment about honored bloodsail being a requirement for the newly added insane title, be something that should be added? Or should it be kept to purely bloodsail only related rewards? Order of Secondary leaders

Unimportant and possibly a stupid question but... in what way are they ordered? Captains are not more highly ranked than a Commodore; they're the other way around.

Based on the alphabetical listing of names within a given rank, I'm thinking there may be a system, in which case it's likely flawed due to the above issue. A F K When Needed 22:26, September 11, 2010 (UTC)

Well I'm going to go ahead and switch them around to be ordered by rank, with multiple names in a rank dealt with in alphabetical fashion.
