The actual model for a black tabby does not resemble a Maine Coon. They are rather large, come in a variety of colours, and do not always have stripes. They typically have bushier tales, something alluded to in almost all folklore surrounding the cat (a cross between a cat & a raccoon). The name change was undocumented, but happened in patch 1.6.
