Is he really dead?? Edit

In several warcraft 3 missions you have to "slay" certain heroes. Some of the time those heroes end up in later levels!! an example of a character that you kill in game but survives is kaelthas (you kill him at the last level of tft campaign and he returns as a boss in WoW) and that pit lord at the Battle Of Mount Hijal.,, For all we know half of the characters that are listed as deceased and are in game characters as well could still be alive (AND THEY DONT SURVIVE DUE TO A PLOT twist more like an army not killing them --The last Alterac 10:18, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Surely. But you know Kael didn't die because he is in Tempest Keep after he was in Northrend. Do you see Dagren anywhere after he was in Durotar? If we do not think it this way we would suspect of everybody who "presumably died" in W3 --N'Nanz 10:34, 21 October 2007 (UTC)N'Nanz 10:26, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
The other difference is that you were never required to kill Kael'thas to beat the mission. Not technically. He, like a great many other heroes in Warcraft 3, was present as a hero unit that harassed you until you killed him, then eventually revived at their altar. The same holds true of Maiev in that mission where you have to rescue Illidan, Sylvanas in all of the Undead missions until Arthas banshees her, Mal'ganis in Stratholme, and any number of generic hero units in other missions. Considering that to mean they're canonically dead is taking things far too literally. -- Dark T Zeratul 19:21, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

Static confirmedEdit

This character is static in the mission, King Arthas, and can be found on the center of the map every single time.Baggins 07:44, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Kul Tiras Edit

Why does it say that he is a Kul Tiras commander??? I recon his occupation should be "corpse". The last Alterac.

Whoops i removed that uncited info from the article after failing to find him, but i didnt remove it from his infobox. It was likely a random generated paladin in the bonus camaping that someone mistakenly added to the wiki.Warthok Talk Contribs 06:23, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

You face him whe you place the instable concoction using Samuro. If you are able to open the map in the World Editor, you'll find Dagren the Orcslaier not a random paladin. --N'Nanz 13:56, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

Point of note the best way to check is by loading a map, and removing the fog of war with the cheat codes, and reloading the level a few times. The World Editor is probably full proof, but if it isn't the actual game itself will prove or disprove it.Baggins (talk) 06:48, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
