==Deathwing/Old God Connection?==
  +
I would like to revisit what H91 brought up, but in a different way: The Twilight's Hammer serve Deathwing, and they also serve the Old Gods. I've read that they have worshipped Ragnaros, and Ragnaros controlls the Dark Irons that didn't go th Ironforge. Since Deathwing controls Cho'gall and the Twilight's Hammer, and they still follow the old gods, and since Ragnaros himself is still associated with the Old Gods, wouldn't that ''technically'' mean that the Dark Irons have joined Deathwing and the Old Gods?[[User:Rangerkid51|Rangerkid51]] ([[User talk:Rangerkid51|talk]]) 02:37, July 28, 2010 (UTC)

Revision as of 02:37, 28 July 2010

I moved info from 'Dark Iron Clan' to this page because Dark Irons are racially distinct from other dwarves, not just of a differing clan. This would be to classify them similarly to 'Forest Troll' or 'Night Elf'. --Varghedin, Sept 30th, 11:21 (CET)

Service To The Old Gods

Trough Ragnaros, the Dark Irons serve the Old Gods, and, the black dragons, more specificly Deathwing, was corrupted by the Old Gods, and if Ragnaros rules the Dark Iron Dwarves and Deathwing (Trough his "son" Nefarion) rules the Blackrock Orcs, this meaning both serving the Old Gods, why does Blackrocks and Dark Irons fight, then? --H91 (talk) 14:57, May 1, 2010 (UTC)

I don't really think that Deathwing serves the Old Gods anymore. Besides, Blackrock Mountain is too small for both sides. Andreioplst (talk) 08:33, May 2, 2010 (UTC)

Appearance

The Dark Iron's dwarves may or may not be white to sickly grey, but in WoW its a darkish grey to black. Could someone change it? Mr.X8 00:04, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

I added that, but cited RPG info always stays.--SWM2448 00:08, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

Who added "in WoW they have red skin" I've never seen one w/ red skin. Mr.X8 01:35, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

Paladins or clerics

Is it possible these dwarves retained palidanism or the holy light use from the IF dwarven mother race? I mean some of them use holy spells.  IconSmall HighElf Male Mr.X8 Talk Contribs 02:12, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Considering that the first paladins weren't trained for a few hundred years after the split from the main dwarven kingdom, I doubt it. I supose its possible that a few of the thorium brotherhood or others who left Ragnaros' service may have become paladins if they could find someone willing to train them, though.Tweak the Whacked 01:57, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

Strangely while they don't talk about paladins in the lore sections there are rules for how to play paladins with this race. However, before anyone starts trying to put it up on the list of classes, the table is a generic table with all the races listed in the book, Dark Factions, and how to adjust the stats. Its not lore table. If it had to do with lore than demonic satyr could be holy paladins, which well would be impossible in actual lore.Baggins (talk) 16:47, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

Mounts

Why would they need mounts underground in small spaces? I am sure the Rams don't like it.  Rolandius Paladin (talk - contr) 09:13, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

In the new Through the Mirror Darkly a large group of dark iron dwarves ambush the heroes. They are all riding rams.Dakovski (talk) 09:26, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
