Words

i did a little search about the word datamine, because i wasn't familiar with it.

i found out that its not actually one word, but two. "Data" + "mine" and it should be used like that.

from wikipedia :

Data mining (DM), also called Knowledge-Discovery in Databases (KDD) or Knowledge-Discovery and Data Mining, is the process of automatically searching large volumes of data for patterns such as association rules. It is a fairly recent topic in computer science but applies many older computational techniques from statistics, information retrieval, machine learning and pattern recognition.

i'll add this to the main article --Stimpak 10:09, 23 November 2006 (EST)

Better to move it, I'd say. You're right :-) --Tinkerer 10:08, 23 November 2006 (EST)

Armory

What about data-mining the WoW Armory? Memesis 18:51, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

That info is accessible to everyone through that website, and Blizzard apparently allows automated data retrieval, since they're providing XML files. ~ User:Nathanyelŋɑϑ 13:18, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

The view...er

I would assume that this covers the model-viewer, hence the removal of the page? Personally I think that the page itself should have stayed without it's own content, possibly replaced by screenshots of the TOS/EULA prohibtions against it?SargeLIVES (talk) 21:50, September 30, 2009 (UTC)
