I'm not convinced that that ship is the Dawn Runner. For one, it has a High Elven symbol on it, rather than a Blood elven one. Two, that ship has more than run aground, it has been destroyed. Three, completing his quest he states "As soon as Ithania has had time to rest and my preparations are complete, we'll depart this sodden wasteland and head back to civilization." ... though there's more than one way to depart a place, it makes he think his ship was still intact.
