Horde? Edit

Should he stay in Horde NPCs. Because if he's alive he probably now works for the Scourge.

Then you would move him to Scourge, not horde. Scourge is not horde. Nevertheless, I wouldn't say that he is scourge now. Gorefiend was a undead/necromancer in WC2, but he isn't Scourge. TheDude 22:34, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
Yeh, but probobly if he lost one of his heads he died so he should be in the scourge not the horde, not one of the forsaken, but the scourge. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Justakija (talk · contr).
You're arguing about what a dead character would belong to if he were alive... Why? -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 19:02, January 21, 2010 (UTC)

Beyond the Dark Portal novelEdit

Dentarg is dead by time the dimensional gateways are opened by Ner'zhul according to the novel KKRP (talk) 16:29, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

That info was removed before.--SWM2448 20:47, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
We do not post plot information from recently released novels until three weeks to a month after.--Ragestorm (talk · contr) 22:48, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

Oh, okay then. :)KKRP (talk) 16:29, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

Lich Dentarg Edit

If dentarg would return as a lich it would be cool if he was a boss in icecrown citadel. Maybe he would be a two headed lich.-LKHighlord 10:54 20/9 2008

Uhhhh...ya, whatever. One thing though...not a forum. No offense, but no one here really cares about your opinion, unless it's for additions to the article (and when I say additions to the article, I DON'T mean random (and useless) speculation that suddenly pops into your head). One head or two Edit

From the novel "Tides of Darkness": "...Tapping Sky’ree with his heels, the Wildhammer leader sent her screaming around and down toward the battlefield. One of the strange two-headed monsters glanced up and, seeing them, roared in reply, but Kurdran was moving too fast to evade, especially with orc warriors everywhere, hampering the giant’s progress. As he dropped Kurdran raised his stormhammer, muscles tensing in anticipation. The beast roared again and swung at him with that massive club, but Sky’ree dodged the blow and flew so close her wing-tip brushed one of the creature’s faces. Then Kurdran threw, putting all his considerable strength into the toss. The skies echoed with thunder and a lightning bolt struck the creature just as he did, lending its strength to the impact. The creature reeled back, its one head caved in, the other blackened, and toppled. It crushed three orcs when it fell, and its club smashed into several more..." Perhaps this means that if a head dies, the other dies too? --N'Nanz (talk) 16:48, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

In the WoW comic, when a two-headed ogre got a head cut off, the other head was alive long enough to scream "brother!" before the body was stabbed. This was an ogre gladiator; perhaps they were tougher than Dentarg? PSH aka Kimera 757 (talk) 16:54, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
The way I read it, Dentarg's other head was fried by the lightning of the stormhammer, which killed it even if it was still mostly intact. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 19:56, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
That's not Dentarg's death scene, he was killed by Khadgar, in BtDP, not ToD. --Ragestorm (talk · contr) 21:27, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

Yes, you misinterpreted what I wrote. The two headed ogre in question was not Dentarg but an unnamed one killed near the border of Quel'thalas by Kurdran. I posted it to see what you think about single head death. --N'Nanz (talk) 12:20, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

I would think it is like any other creature. If somehow it could get first aid quick enough, and not loss too much blood and other complications, he could live although it might find itself asking the other head a question or two a day only to realize that there isn't anyone there any longer. LOL Rolandius Paladin.gif (talk - contr) 12:25, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

Kilrogg lost an eye, Kargath a hand, Nekros a leg, a two headed ogre that loses a head (the headless ogre LOL) would be very very funny!!! ;D —The preceding unsigned comment was added by N'Nanz (talk · contr). 06:15, 11 February 2009

No offense, but any reason why you posted your question on the Dentarg discussion page, rather then ogre magi discussion page which, imho, would be a better place for such a question? Toran Wildpaw of the Frenzyheart (talk) 22:20, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

Uhhh...whoops, nvm, I looked at the discussion page before looking at the actual article XD Disregard what I just said, please. Toran Wildpaw of the Frenzyheart (talk) 22:24, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

Den'targ Edit

Shouldnt his name be Den'targ not Dentarg?Because i read an article about ogres that they give names too both heads ones name Den the others Targ and it makes Den'targ.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Justakija (talk · contr).

That naming convention only emerged after Dentarg's appearance, so it's an inconsistency. --Ragestorm (talk · contr) 16:37, November 16, 2009 (UTC)
