Unfair to non-Wotlk players? A money making scheme?

"Ghostcrawler: Players who have reached the maximum level will be able to set up dual specs."

Assuming "maximum level" means level 80, this seems unfair to players who only have regular World of Warcraft and are capped at level 60 or Burning Crusade players who are capped at level 70. Is this just a scheme by Blizzard to get players to buy the last expansion in order to get this new feature?

"Ghostcrawler: We didn’t want to burden lower-level players with extra complexity as they’re working to level up and learn their class."

Oh please. I guess those players who reached 60 or 70 when that was the level cap never learned to play their class? I suspect maybe there is a technical capacity issue or something that makes Blizz nervous. --Gengar orange 22x22 Fandyllic (talk · contr) 10:44 AM PST 17 Feb 2009

Can anyone in the latest PTR confirm the current level requirement? Note this earlier blue post:

/confirm

At least for now it's confirmed.

You can see from the interview a couple weeks ago to now it changed and so it could continue to change as we go through testing. Testing is weird.

Fewer spec points

I'm seeing that the dual or secondary talent spec is 5 points fewer than the main. Can anyone confirm this? --User:Slxception/Sig 15:03, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

Never mind, it was bugged. I had to switch to my primary to get the last 5 points.--User:Slxception/Sig 15:24, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
