Talk:Earthcaller Franzahl
From WoWWiki
Where does it say that he is a high elf? since ingame he have green glowing eyes. TherasTaneel (talk) 04:19, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
- I don't have the model viewer on this computer, so I don't know what his actual model is like. But assuming that picture is of Franzahl and not just any random elf, he's definitely got green eyes. Jormungand

- The eyes look greenish, because high elves in-game have the green glow used by blood elves. This is the case for all elves based off the blood elf model in-game. (Dark Ranger's have the same problem) If you go close up on his face, you'll see that he has blue eyes, but the green glow makes it look turquoise further away: or green from a distance. Look at other male high elf pages and you'll see what I mean. (Female high elves don't have it as bad because their eyes are bigger (and arguably bluer), and the glow doesn't effect it as much) The environment also has a lot to do with it as well.
- I wish blizzard would fix this...its the cause of controversy on many other high elf pages. If you want to see his model for yourself, check out his Wowhead page. The "View in 3D" tab activates a nice built-in model viewer that solves the problem.
- I see what you mean now. It's odd though that the glow isn't there on the model, but it is in-game. Jormungand

- Eh... Sometimes it can be hard to tell. Like with Gilthares Firebough and Astromancer Darnarian, it can be confusing at times. (Firebough because of his pre-bc BE model and red clothes, and Darnarian because he has a high elf voice but blood elf quotes- we STILL don't know how to categorize him!) Removal of the green glow (and perhaps unique quotes- as opposed to night elf quotes) might make things clearer. Oh, well. At least blizzard acknowledges their existence...--Blayaden (talk) 17:25, 27 December 2008 (UTC)
