:There's a simple answer for that. How many enchanting materials do you typically carry on you at a time? If it's less than the size of a typical bag (probably 18 slots at level 80), don't bother with a special enchanting bag. If it's more, buy whatever size bag you need to carry them all. -- [[User:Dark T Zeratul|Dark T Zeratul]] ([[User talk:Dark T Zeratul|talk]]) 09:32, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

Trainers

On Thottbot you can see that the enchanter trainers that are listed below the rest of the article are not at the same level as it's written ... --Kirochi 20:33, 15 Dec 2005 (EST)

Materials

On the Wiki it states that "No enchanter can hope to level his skill just with the loot he finds by himself. Components have either to be bought from the AH or be donated by friends (or alts). Farming magic items for disenchanting is simply not feasible."

I disagree. Though it is not as effecient as getting a high level or guild to help you, one can enter lower instances to farm for materials. For example, at level 30 one can solo Deadmines and come out with 6-10 items that can be disenchanted. These items can be used to continuously enchant the same items to up your skill, or be sold at the AH for a decent amount of gold.

Yeah, i agree, this page in general has too much opinion. The statement "Thus enchanting is recommended only for players with backup from a guild" is highly dubious. The very best enchanters tend to be those that turn it into a mini-game in and of itself, by buying/selling mats and making enchants available in the cities. Similarly, using tailoring to level up to skill 40 is also an opinion/preference, I would argue the best way up to 60 is just to buy cheaply on AH, disenchant, and then sell the mats (disenchanting caps at 60, at least pre-TBC). --Sabelaide 17:29, 21 January 2007 (EST)

This seems pretty opinionated to say that all cloth could be sold for more than items for disenchanting can be bought. The economy of each server is vastly unique. This particular entry should be revised IMO.

Crafted Items

I'm trying to fill out this section. It doesn't seem very intuitive to have the header for the section to redirect with no entry or preface.

Disenchanting item levels

Seem to be wrong. I think there should be to columns with "item level" and "~required level". Item level for tbc greens is 85 and up i think.

The lower level stuff seems to be out of sync too. Im currently trying to skill up enchanting. I have a level 36 item and i need an enchanting of 125 to disenchant is while this article says i only need 100. This difference between item level and required level to equip for more powerful items really makes that table complicated. Exiton 10:41, 28 March 2007 (PDT)

I tried out disenchanting a bunch of different level items an my findings match the tables listed on WoW Community Site and Thottbot. Exiton 14:30, 9 April 2007 (EDT)

Outland Enchanting Recipes

I'm not sure why this section was added to this page, but wouldn't it be better on Enchanting recipes?--Stfrn 02:38, 7 April 2007 (EDT)

this whole article

In my opinion, this whole article needs a rewrite, it is far too opinionated. It is actually a bit offensive when you think about it. The article, although written for enchanters, is itself condescending.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by RS4915 (talk · contr).

2.2 Disenchant icon

INV Enchant Disenchant

On PTR the Disenchant Icon has been replaced by a new icon, i have uploaded it and is leaving a note here so that it may be replaced when 2.2 goes live. Fiskert/c  08:18, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

Simple Enchanting Macro

Low Levels

The section on weapon glows seems a bit out when talking about low level enchants. Suggesting a 230 level recipe as the lowest level money maker is either highly depressing, or suggesting that there is no point to doing enchanting before level 40 or so. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jonti (talk · contr).

Wrath of the Lich King

Content needs updating. Edited the table for proficiencies on this page. I set the skill range for Grand Master Enchanting to 350-450, though if you feel that 375-450 would be more accurate, feel free to change it. --CommonsNat (talk) 02:08, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

I've also noticed that drops seemed to have changed, at least for weapons between 65 and 70 from Bc icon to Wrath-Logo-Small materials. I wonder what else has changed. -Howbizr (talk) 02:37, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
