He could possibly be a dark knight, as his powers are very anti-paladin esque, yet don't seem to focus on necromancy. And as draenei were able to develop paladins on their own(presumably well before the allaince did), its believable that they would have ended up with the equivalent of the paladin's anthesis.Tweak the Whacked 11:26, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

Can someone identify his gear and weapon? I'm not a specialist on WoW, so I can't identify it. :P Severin Andrews 18:28, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

Equvilant to a Death Knight?

I wondered alot about this, given that the Auchenai are practicing necromancy. Obviously he's not aligned with Ner'zhul given that the Exarch is Draenei, but even so, what are the prerequisites for being considered a death knight? While his abilities seem unorthodox, is he just a fallen paladin? Or does he fit into the catagory? I'm probably thinking about this too much, but I blame that on Wrath. --ArthosRa 00:00, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

He seems to be a 'dark paladin' of some sort. If he is a necromancer himself, then yes.--SWM2448 00:27, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

Either way, it's an interesting thought, and this has always bothered me. Fallen paladin seems to fit best, I guess. As I said, always bothered me. EDIT: Definitely a prime candidate had he ever gotten the chance to go to Azeroth, though. --ArthosRa 00:43, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

They may have to be undead themselves.--SWM2448 20:14, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

Yes, he was a paladin before he was corrupted (I think turned evil himself). In fact after you kill him the spirit of Exarch Maladaar appears in the bone wastes. The spirit is a paladin wearing the Lawbringer Armor. --N'Nanz 20:32, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

He's obviously a drae, so I'm adding that to the page. —Qit el-Remel 09:12, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
