Talk:Eye of Dalaran
Back to page
Point of note please try to avoid referencing second hand information. If you want to post information about the eye of Dalaran go to primary sources, such as Warcraft II expansion, and any official books. The reliability of a fansite can't be wholey confirmed. I suggest that some research into official sources and confirm if Blizzplanet info is correct, and then replace it with a primary source citation instead.Baggins 05:32, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
Magik?
Edit
Yes, yes, I know that there are numerous ways to spell it (magic, magick, magicke, etc.) but it just seems a little ouit of place. Why put the uncommon version of the word in the article? I changed it.

Need cited information and corrections
Edit
Well this article lack of cited information, the only two cited text are from a non-official source. Also where does this information comes:
Khadgar retrieved the Eye once Ner'zhul had opened the rifts, and presumably, he gave it to a Wildhammer dwarf under Kurdran, along with the Skull of Gul'dan. The dwarf was ordered to return the artifacts to the safety of Azeroth.
"The Eye's current fate is unknown, either it has been stolen by the Scourge after the destruction of Dalaran, or it has remained safe within the reclaimed city."
??? I remember that in the BtDP game they recovered the skull of Gul'dan and the Book of Medivh but they never recovered the eye of dalaran
Also i say that we should delete the speculation, it is more like fanfic, no lore support that idea.
This part:
"The Eye of Dalaran was/is a source of magic for the human nation of Dalaran."
Can someone tell me the source? becuase in the WoWRPG this is told of the Arcane Magic: "Arcane is the most common form of magic. Used by mages, wizards, and other sorcerers such as those of the Kirin Tor, arcane magic is ever present in the atmosphere and accessible to any who are capable of drawing upon its energies. Arcane magics were discovered by the Kaledorei and later refined by the high elves of Quel'thalas and the human nations, and are most commonly practiced by mages." It is supposed that the magic it's present in the atmospher not that it has a source.
If no one answer I think i will reduct the article to what we see in the game. Benitoperezgaldos (talk) 00:02, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
