"The" Eye ? So he's a cyclop ? C=--Kirochi 17:29, 13 September 2006 (EDT)

Didn't Illidan's actions result in him absorbing the Eye? Giving him demonic form? Or was that the Skull of Gul'dan that did it?-Bao 07:09, 27 September 2006 (PDT)

That was the skull of Gul'dan, not the Eye of Sargeras. Markkawika 03:11, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Artifact, not actual eye

In the chapter The Ruins of Dalaran from the Night elf campaign in The Frozen Throne, Kael'thas says about the Eye: "They are using a gem-like artifact...". This concludes that the Eye of Sargeras is an artifact. Dakovski (talk) 10:25, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

The Skull of Gul'dan was also an artifact. While I agree that the Eye of Sargeras was indeed an artifact, that does not necessarily mean that it wasn't an eyeball. --Alpha Sigma Sigma (talk) 19:05, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

the eye

No I thought that the eye was the remains of the Titain that the Gaurdian Aegwynn stored in the temple. If you look back to the campaign dialogue Guldan mentions claiming the remains of sargeras. Illidan claimed those memories when he absorbed his skull. He sought what guldan sought. Thats my piece. Krasusinwow (talk) 20:18, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

Seeing as the Titans have metallic or mineral appearances (Sargeras himself being described as molten bronze), it stands to reason that one of Sargeras' eyeballs might look like a gem. Being an artifact doesn't preclude it being an eyeball either; the Skull of Gul'dan was also considered an artifact. I'm inclined to agree that it's an eyeball. But if Sargeras or his physical avatar had two eyes, what happened to the other one? --Alpha Sigma Sigma (talk) 19:03, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
