Anyone know what the draeni or blood elf organizations that have faith in the light? Are there main organizations that keep the priests, paladins, vindicators, and blood nights in check?Baggins (talk) 02:30, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

Aren't they called the Bloodknights (blood elves) and the Vindicators (draenei)?  Rolandius Wc3Knight (talk - contr) 04:54, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

Nah those are more like names of honor, and vindicator is a class unto itself in the RPG. ...And the priests are neither blood knights or vindicators ;).Baggins (talk) 04:56, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

Well its either those two or the The Aldor and The Scryers.  Rolandius Wc3Knight (talk - contr) 05:07, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

Aldor and Scryers are completely different. No the question is the organization that includes both the priests and blood knights, the individual subfactions within the main groups. BTW, most of paladins and priests of the blood elves were formerly of the Church of the Light. They came from those priests you see back in Warcraft III. The vindicators and paladins are part of the Hand of Argus, which is the equivalent to the KNights of hte Silver Hand. Although I don't think it includes the priests.Baggins (talk) 06:19, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

Okay I was going to self-edit but you did allready. Ok is it the Magisters?  Rolandius Wc3Knight (talk - contr) 06:33, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
No, magister is a generic term as far as I know used for mages. Also i'm pretty sure the Magister's Terrace was part of the city for years, before they even became blood elves.Baggins (talk) 06:42, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
That is all I can find then. Also, why are all of the blood elves an offshoot of the Church of Holy Light if some of them stole the Light from a captured naaru — and never were part of the Church of Holy Light?  Rolandius Wc3Knight (talk - contr) 06:48, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

Please post proof of never part of the Church of hte Light. As far as I know paladins and priests lost access to the light, and were forced to steal to get it back, thus allowing for the priests, paladins and blood knights. While there were certainly new members, many members were former priests and paladins when they were high elves.Baggins (talk) 06:51, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

I am just going by this in wowwiki:
"The Blood Knights formerly gained their power by sapping Light energy from the captive naaru M'uru held beneath the Blood Knight headquarters."
It looks like they are now "good" again because they said they want to aid A'dal and his group.  Rolandius Wc3Knight (talk - contr) 07:02, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

That doesn't mean they rejoined the Church of the Holy Light. That makes things very different beast altogether. Argent DAwn are good and similar to the Church but are not members of the church. It still makes them heretics. Also stop adding organizations that even remotely have some kind of connection to the holy light. Mainly this article is for things that can be cited as religious faiths, each initial ones were listed only because they were specifically said to be religions/philosophies and not simply military organizations with ties to the HOly Light. Sub orgnations and military orders do not reparesent the "faith". Alot of orgnations have members in the Church of irs offshoots that doesn't make them all religions unto themselves.Baggins (talk) 07:09, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

I never said they rejoined the Church. I am saying some of them were never even part of it in the first place. They got thier powers from a naaru.  Rolandius Wc3Knight (talk - contr) 07:18, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

Alot of ARgent Dawn, and Scarlet Crusde wer enever members of the Church of Light in the first place as well, yet hte RPG says they are heretics. Me thinks your just confused... Also LIke I said before don't mix up organizations with religions. This article is about religions themselves, all organizations, that are remotely connected to light. Also certain members of th eArgent Dawn, and Scarlet Crusade get their powers outside of the normal method of the Church. That is one of the things that makes them heretics as well. They changed philosophies... Scarlet Crusade and Blood Knights are especially similar in that both lost powers of the light, many becoming ex-paladins, and both had to look for alternative sources of power to regain their abilities. Its not that hard to understand...Baggins (talk) 07:24, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

I guess I thought they were seperate from the Stormwind priests, since clerics fight a bit more. I am not confused, just don't have those RPG books.

On the Blood Knight thing, it says in thier history right on wowwiki that a lot of them, not all, got thier powers from a naaru, and not the Church of Light. They never "lost" thier powesr because they did not even have the powers yet. They "lost" thier powers only when the naaru was taken away.

One contradictory note, if you were never a part of the Church of Light — and you are in the Scarlet Crusade or Argent Dawn — then how are you an offshoot of it like the RPG states? That would mean a lot of other people that were never a part of the Church of Light can suddenly be called offshoots according to the RPG rules. There could be some organization in lets say Outland with one paladin formerly of the Church of Light, and now the whole organization is an offshoot.  Rolandius Wc3Knight (talk - contr) 07:36, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

Have you hear of an organization known as catholics, and the offshoots known as "protestants"? If you haven't look them up... After that do you know how many join them every year? Secondly, paladins and priests who became blood elves took on ideals contrary to the Church they once belonged too, and many lost their powers, they had to go back to the Naaru to regain their powers... AFter the Third War most of the high elfs became blood elves, and thus blood elf paladins and priests. You have played warcraft III right? The high elves were the priests in the game, and after they became blood elves they became the blood elf priests in TFT. Sometime after most of them lost their powers of the holy light after they started doing questionable acts. The warcraft RPG discusses the elven paladins btw.Baggins (talk) 07:49, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
I didn't play part III. That could be why.  Rolandius Wc3Knight (talk - contr) 10:00, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
