Valid site but in the wrong place (was placed above Thott and Alla). HOWEVER the frontpage of the site has a RL-work-for-wow-gold scheme, which, to me, is the same as buying wow gold, just with a different currency.   --Mikk (T) 11:01, 11 October 2006 (EDT)

This has got to stop. A good idea is to check http://www.alexa.com for the traffic rankings for the websites.

I stopped editing anyways , also a good measure is the google pagerank , which is also quite relevant and should be factored in , here is the aggregated order.

The only reason why he suggests Google Rank is because it favors WoWd, if Google Rank had been chosen and Alexa favored WoWd he would have said lets use Alexa. *shrug* even though it has an ok google pagerank, the Alexa ranking is so far off that there's obviously a huge discrepancy between sites pointing at wowd and people actually using it. Well the fact that wowhead is moving up in popularity isn't because of where it sits in a wiki listing. It is a very clean, fast and readable, I would use it myself if it had more comments which is more useful than just a database of items alone. WoWd has been around a long time, and personally I think it is very ugly and hard to read and not memorable. That is my opinion. I know exactly what it is all about, I may not be affiliated with these sites but I own and run plenty of other sites under other venues to understand what the frustration and goal is. Make a palatable site and the traffic will come, make one that isn't so pleasing, good luck. -- Gryphon 13:08, 10 October 2006 (EDT)
