A More Relevant Map of all Azeroth
Edit
I am currently composing a Map that is 44 x 33 In. that will represent a 99% accurate version of the entire Azeroth world including all of it's islands, continents, and other unshown zones that other maps don't all show together. This will take time though, as I plan to make this through an actual blueprint enlarging by-hand method and then send it to a blueprinting company to have it become an official blueprint, from there it will even be purchasable or requested to be made copied from the blueprint database HQ. The original I will compose, and the Blueprint version will both be posted on this website as well as some others I own, upon finishing it. Since I have only started working on it since the 27th of April, and it will require many detailed adjustments over time to reach its most accurate point, I predict it will not be accessible for view until atleast several months from now. Stay tuned for updates or discussion on this topic. Swords of Oblivion 07:58, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
- Update: I am also composing a Digital minature version of this map for comparison and side-kick purposes. I will post the first half of IT'S completion this week. (Note, this digital version will probably only include Kalimdor and The Eastern Kingdoms, but it will show the size of the area of the Actual Map and where I'm headed towards with it.) - Update: I have changed the size of the maps dimensions. It will now be TWO 44 x 33 In. sheets, aligned together to make an 88 x 66 in. map. In other words I just doubled its size. I will also be adding another sheet connected to the top of the 2-already-connected ones, of an 88 x 15 In. size (to compensate for the fact that Northrend won't fit on the other two sheets, from the way I've composed it). If you were to compare the size of this map's end result, to that of the map in the WoW Atlas, the one I'm composing is going to be around 5-7 times larger. This does mean, however, that it really IS going to be taking several months as I Anticipated. Swords of Oblivion 21:28, 2 May 2007 (EDT)
- Update: I've finished the first of several steps in finishing the map, all that I need now, to continue, is to obtain my collector's edition box that I bought months ago and is in a trunk at my girlfriend's house. I'm pretty sure the concept of some of the maps in the box will help a bit if i can see them in person. I just hate to have to open the box since it was 70 bucks and my main account is already upgraded =/. Swords of Oblivion 09:39, 10 May 2007 (EDT)

Future Small Zone and Instance adds to Azeroth
Edit
- Most of the Zones listed on this Page:[1].
- Zul'Aman / Maisara Hills.
- Modern Hyjal.
- One Instance in Caverns of Time.
- If you know of any more please list them. Swords of Oblivion 08:47, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
- Emerald Dream belongs to Continents or Instances? What do you think? Axell
- I was under the impression the Emerald Dream was larger than just one instance... If you recall, it has the Emerald Paradise as a zone within it, so it Must be larger than just one zone to have a zone within it.. I would suggest Emerald Dream as a Plane or Dimension categorized under Continents. Also let's not forget, There are a number of portals on Azeroth that aren't activated yet, one of them probably leads to the Emerald Dream, but where could the others lead? Notes
Edit
I think that when we consider Map changes, we should first and foremost go by what all the maps out there currently show but don't offer yet, while still looking to other possibilities for completely unexplored areas. Swords of Oblivion 07:45, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
