If you think about it, nearly all of Undercity's inhabitants are former members of the Alliance, either as humans or (in Sylvanas' case) as high elves... In the Apothecarium. Little or no lore is known about this character. Some hypothesize that he is truly a leper gnome that somehow made his way north from Gnomeregan (where most of the race is said to live). Others theorize he is an undead gnome risen by necromancy and joined the Forsaken, and may have ties to the Royal Apothecary society. But nothing is confirmed.
I dont understand, there is a undead gnome model already, used in Naxxramas. If he was undead why didnt they just use that model? I mean in silvermoon there are leper slaves, so he may just be a slave or a test subject.--
