Strange BugEdit

I bought this book out of curiosity from the AH when I saw that it started a Rogue quest (precious few that there are for us) and the map sent me to the Dalaran Crater. Needless to say I wasted a pretty good chunk of time wandering around up there until I had to look it up to find out that it was actually in Dire Maul. Anybody know any reason for this malfunction?
