Gilligan's Island

Sound like Gillijim's isle might be a reference to "Gilligan's Island"--Kungfurabbit 00:30, 22 February 2007 (EST)

I agree.--SWM2448 20:07, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
Pretty sure this is accurate. The other island is likely a reference to The Island of Dr. Moreau. These are the first things that came to my mind when I read the names. Generalleoff 03:56, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

GM Island

I was just talking to a GM and he said that Gillijim's Isle is the same as GM Island. Is that true?

I do not think so, but if a GM said it... Gillijim's Isle was by STV and GM island is by the Night elf starting aera.--SWM2448 17:04, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
Strange, the GM really said it to me. I asked about Gillijim's Island, then he said that the GMs hold tea party's there. I asked if it's the same place as GM Island and he answered yes. User:Midna22:39, 24 July 2007(GMT+1)
Sounds like he was kidding... but they might have set it up for GMs to be able to go there. I guess we'll never know until someone here joins Blizzard. Kurl 19:00, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

Northrend

The Northrend map strangely readded theese two islands?--Gurluas 10:15, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

The Northrend map is a mix of the old Alpha worldmap, Northrend and the 2 new TBC zones. Fiskert/c  17:08, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
Fiskerdin himself o.o...what an honor, i think there is a reason they used that map, it seems fishy they just use an old map for no reason, and even do the effort of adding northrend and the tbc zones--Gurluas 17:05, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
I think that's reading a bit too much into it. Someone probably just grabbed the wrong file. I'm sure they have a rediculous number of them floating around at Blizzard from various stages of development. --WarlockSoL 18:42, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
I think more importantly why did the artist who did the 2006 wall map, add the islands into his version of the map...Baggins 01:01, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

Access via "heal-through-fatigue" methods?

The article states that the island is inaccessible because fatigue sets in before you get there. But I am wondering with all this talk about swimmng to Quel'Danas with a BE paladin and "healing through the fatigue". Is this technique possible to get to Gillijim's Isle? Has anyone actually tried it? Kidburla 00:54, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

I dunno about healing through fatigue, but if you mount and get a shaman to cast water walking on you, you can water-ride which gets you through the fatigue waters faster... or so I've heard. Never actually tried it... --Azaram (talk)
